About Great Tastes Tuesdays:
Great Tastes Tuesdays started as a blog that I shared one new recipe every day. It has evolved into sharing other great ideas in the area of Family and Consumer Science including cooking ideas, culinary arts, sewing, crafts, child development, parenting, family relationships, family finance, and more! Great Tastes Tuesdays is growing in many ways: I sale my handcrafted items on andRuby.com, I have an Etsy shop, Facebook page and it is growing more every day! Shop today to find you or a loved one a great gift!
When it All Begin:
Great Tastes Tuesdays begin in November 2012. I thought this would be a great way to try
new things and be consistent at it. I decided to start this blog and start sharing my recipe and ideas with others. I was experiencing how hard it was to come up with new ideas in the kitchen and not get bored. So this is helping me keep up and making new things and help others come up with ideas too!
Why the Name:
The name Great Tastes Tuesdays comes from when my husband and I
were dating. We were always so busy, but we were lucky enough to be able to
take a class together on Tuesday nights. After that class we would go make
dinner together. With dinner I would always try to find a new recipe and
something different for the week that would taste good! (And of course I was
trying to impress him with my cooking and baking skills all through the
process). So, with my dating experience I thought I would bring Tuesdays back
and turn it into a blog.
Like my Tuesday night date nights Great Tastes Tuesdays features recipes that are posted many days of the week. On Tuesday I post The Recipe Find of the Week. This is the best recipe that I came across that week and I share it and more on Tuesdays. I also share a lot of other ideas in the area of Family and Consumer Science. I would love for you to become a follower of Great Tastes Tuesdays!
More about Me:
My name is Kimberli and I recently graduated with a Bachelors
degree in Family and Consumer Science Education from Utah State University. (This is the long version of saying Home Ec. Teacher for Middle School and High School Students) I love trying new things! Some of the things I enjoy doing are riding horses, exercising, spending lots of time with my family (especially my husband and little girl), being outdoors, gardening, sewing, playing the piano and doing anything I can with my hands! I
am married to my wonderful husband Clint and we have a little 1 year old girl
Brenli! I was born and raised in St. George, Utah, but since meeting my husband
at USU I now live in Cache Valley, Utah with my little family and we really
enjoy it.
Hope you enjoy Great Tastes Tuesdays! Visit me daily, join the crew and become a follower. I would love for you to share this blog with your friends and family too!
